1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Seiri ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our Service.

Who Can Use Seiri

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use our Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You must be authorized to agree to these terms on behalf of any organization you represent

2. Description of Service

Seiri provides webhook and cron job monitoring services, including:

  • Job Monitoring: Track the execution of scheduled jobs, cron jobs, and webhooks
  • Failure Detection: Identify when jobs fail to run or complete successfully
  • Alert System: Send notifications via email, Slack, and other channels
  • Analytics Dashboard: Provide insights into job performance and reliability
  • API Access: Programmatic access to monitoring data and configuration

Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.99% uptime, but the Service is provided "as is" without guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

3. Account Registration and Security

Account Creation

To use Seiri, you must create an account by providing:

  • A valid email address
  • A secure password
  • Accurate contact and billing information (for paid plans)

Account Security

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Use strong, unique passwords
  • Enable two-factor authentication when available
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Uses

You may use Seiri to monitor:

  • Legitimate business processes and applications
  • Personal projects and systems you own or control
  • Systems you have explicit permission to monitor

Prohibited Uses

You must NOT use Seiri to:

  • Monitor systems without proper authorization
  • Engage in any illegal activities or violate applicable laws
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise our Service
  • Send excessive requests that could impact service performance
  • Use the Service to spam, harass, or abuse others
  • Store or transmit malicious code or harmful content
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of others
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

5. Billing and Payments

Subscription Plans

Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscriptions
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension
  • Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation Policy:

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation
  • No partial refunds for unused portions of paid periods

6. Data and Privacy

You retain ownership of all data you provide to Seiri, including:

  • Ping data and monitoring history
  • Alert preferences and team settings
  • Any custom data sent with monitoring requests

7. Intellectual Property

Feedback

8. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Uptime Commitment

  • Target: 99.99% monthly uptime
  • Measurement: Excludes scheduled maintenance
  • Credit: Service credits for sustained outages

Support Response

  • Free Plans: Best effort support
  • Paid Plans: 24-hour response time
  • Enterprise: Priority support with SLA

9. Limitation of Liability

Important Legal Notice

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Seiri is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
  • We are not responsible for third-party services or integrations
  • Some jurisdictions may not allow these limitations

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Seiri harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
  • Any data or content you provide through the Service

11. Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

  • Canceling your subscription through the dashboard
  • Contacting our support team
  • Following the account deletion process

Termination by Seiri

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Fail to pay outstanding fees
  • Engage in prohibited activities
  • Create security risks or legal liability

Effect of Termination

Upon Termination:

  • Your access to the Service will be immediately suspended
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days for potential recovery
  • After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted
  • Outstanding fees remain due and payable
  • Provisions that should survive termination will continue to apply

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:

  • We'll notify you by email and through the Service
  • Changes will be effective 30 days after notification
  • Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance
  • You may terminate your account if you disagree with changes
