“Reliable delivery” in Seiri means reliable detection that work ran — not retrying outbound HTTP to your APIs.
Notification retries
When Seiri sends an alert to Slack, Discord, email, or another channel and the channel call fails, Seiri retries with backoff so a transient outage does not drop the page.
Backoff
Alert channel deliveries use exponential backoff so a down Slack/Discord/email provider does not get hammered.
